Lightware Labs is a creative projection mapping studio based in Dallas, TX, founded and run by Camron and Courtney Ware—a duo blending storytelling and technical wizardry to craft immersive visual experiences.
We’re a small team doing big work - over 200 events a year - from city-wide building takeovers to intimate stage shows.
Unlike your run-of-the mill rental house or cookie-cutter event service, we design custom experiences that tell a story. Whether we’re working with theaters, schools, brands, or city art commissions, we tailor every moment to the space, the story, and the scale.
You’re not hiring a massive crew with layers of middlemen. You’re working directly with us—Courtney and Camron—who will dream, plan, and pixel-perfect the project ourselves. The sweet spot between mom-and-pop heart and big-studio impact.
We’re hands-on, high-touch, and highly experienced—offering accessible projection mapping that still feels magical and unforgettable.
CAMRON WARE
I’ve been doing live events since I was a kid, running sound for my friend’s band. I moved through audio, lighting, touring, consulting, installations. Eventually, all of that led me to what I do now: finding creative ways to use projection to transform any surface, space, or event into something unforgettable (and super cool!)
Lightware Labs grew out of that passion. My wife Courtney and I wanted a place where artistry and engineering could meet, where we could experiment with projection in ways that create memorable experiences for everyone.

I’m a visual storyteller who loves exploring how light and film can transform the way we see the world. For nearly 20 years, I’ve worn many hats in filmmaking—producer, director, editor—and my work has found its way to over 40 film festivals, including Sundance, Tribeca, and SXSW, even earning an Independent Spirit Award nomination along the way.
These days, I pour all of my creative energy into Lightware Labs. At the heart of everything I do is a love of storytelling—finding new ways to spark wonder, connection, and a little bit of magic.
